The Ask

The Maricopa StandDown is establishing a pop-up veterinary hospital to provide free veterinary care for homeless pets of at-risk veterans. Your donations will help ensure this 100% free veterinary care for homeless pets is available to those in need.

In 2025, the veterinarians volunteering at the Maricopa County Veterans’ StandDown treated over 350 cats and dogs, as well as at least 2 birds. They issued 105 dog licenses, performed 45 groomings, completed 33 spay/neuter procedures, and administered over 500 vaccines—all at no cost to the veterans.

Your donation makes this vital support for homeless veterans and their pets possible.
